About

Hi, I’m Josie, and here are some questions that I’m sick of being asked:

…”What do you want to do with that?”…”So what kind of job does that qualify you for again?”…”Ah – you want to become a teacher, right?”…

These and similar questions are the bane of existence of everyone who studies a humanity WITHOUT any intention of becoming a teacher.
Seriously: Children are creepy and as a teacher you are not even allowed to tell them that they suck at what you’re trying to teach them because that would get you in trouble with their parents.

No. Definitely not an option.

So until I have figured out what I’m actually going to do with my life I thought I might as well start by doing something my major should probably qualify me forΒ – and that I spend most of my time doing anyway:
Reading books and talking about them – the good, the bad and the ugly.

PS: Please do leave any reading / reviewing suggestions in the comment section! I always love discovering new books. I can’t promise to get around to reading / reviewing your suggestions immediately but I’m more than happy to add them to my never-ending reading list! =)
…or shoot me an email at whatdoesonedowiththat@gmail.com.

Thanks for reading! =)

    1. Awww – thank you!
(I was away from the internet for the past week, hence the late-ish reply.)
I am floored about the award. I really don’t think that my meagre three post blog deserves it (yet?), but I’ll accept it anyway! =)
Thank you again! And…I guess I’m off answering some questions now?! (I skimmed over them – they looked tough! O.o)

    1. Hi! Thanks for stopping by!
I’ve read Madame Bovary. It’s not one of my favourite novels, but I guess I might have been a little too young when I read it to fully appreciate it. Never heard of Giovanni’s Room – is it similar to Madame Bovary?
