Hi, I’m Josie, and here are some questions that I’m sick of being asked:
…”What do you want to do with that?”…”So what kind of job does that qualify you for again?”…”Ah – you want to become a teacher, right?”…
These and similar questions are the bane of existence of everyone who studies a humanity WITHOUT any intention of becoming a teacher.
Seriously: Children are creepy and as a teacher you are not even allowed to tell them that they suck at what you’re trying to teach them because that would get you in trouble with their parents.
No. Definitely not an option.
So until I have figured out what I’m actually going to do with my life I thought I might as well start by doing something my major should probably qualify me for – and that I spend most of my time doing anyway:
Reading books and talking about them – the good, the bad and the ugly.
PS: Please do leave any reading / reviewing suggestions in the comment section! I always love discovering new books. I can’t promise to get around to reading / reviewing your suggestions immediately but I’m more than happy to add them to my never-ending reading list! =)
…or shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for reading! =)
